Classes in this package
1. Positive Discipline - Online Class - (6 clock hours)
Description This training is designed for both novice and experienced child care providers who care for preschool age children. Participants will learn to identify common misbehaviors and how to prevent them; they will learn the goals and guidelines of positive discipline and design a list of preschool classroom rules. Participants will also be actively involved in applying positive discipline techniques to help guide children and promote safe behavior and self-control.
2. Proud to be a Professional! - Online Class - (3 clock hours)
Description This training is designed for both child care providers and leaders. Participants will explore the meaning of professionalism while expanding their own growth as a professional. Learn how to influence public perception and make a difference!
3. Developmentally Appropriate Practice: Choosing toys and art activities - Online Class - (4 clock hours)
Description This training is designed for providers that are just learning about developmentally appropriate practices. This training will help them learn to apply this approach by selecting appropriate toys and art activities.
4. Caring for Yourself as a Child Care Provider - Online Class - (3 clock hours)
Description This training is designed to help child care providers avoid burnout. This training will help you learn how to care for yourself while caring for children.
5. Reporting Concerns - Online Class - (3 clock hours)
Description This training is designed for caregivers and educators and administrators of child care programs or schools. Students will learn how to determine when and how to best approach families when they have a concern about a child's development or behavior and wish to make a referral.
6. Every Child is Unique - Online Class - (3 clock hours)
Description This training is designed for caregivers and educators of children of all ages. Students will learn how to recognize individual behavioral and learning styles and adapt learning activities and experiences appropriately.
Credit Certificates for each class will be sent to you upon completion (via email, mail, or fax...as you specify).
Enrollment The enrollment fee is $70. You may pay for these classes online (through PayPal, using credit/debit card) or use the printable order form (using check, money order, or credit/debit card). If ordering online, the class links (URLs) will be sent via email. If ordering with printable order form, the class material will also be sent via email only (not all classes in this package are available for printing).
To Enroll in the Nanny Package
To enroll in the online training classes, the Nanny Package, use the form in the right hand column on this page. You can pay through PayPal using a secure online transaction, or print out the form to pay by check or money order.
After You Enroll
After you enroll, you will receive an email (from classes@childcarelounge.com) within 24 hours, usually within a few hours, that will tell you the link for the class content. You may want to add classes@childcarelounge.com to your "safe list" to ensure that you receive it promptly.
