Anyone, anywhere is welcome to enroll in one of our online child care classes. If your state does have a training approval process, that information is detailed below. Your state may not specifically approve trainings toward the required hours of professional development that you need each year. If so, you may use these classes! Please note that you may also use these class hours towards 120 hours needed for the CDA certificate.

Classes are approved for hours of Staff Development Training by the Mississippi State Department of Health.
The following classes are approved in Mississippi:

(3 clock hours) AJL4-The Anti-bias Approach (12 clock hours) AJL5-Infant and Toddler Care (4 clock hours) AJL6-Preschool Science: A Sense of Wonder and Discovery (4 clock hours) AJL7-Learning Styles (3 clock hours) BJL1-Promoting Family Partnerships (10 clock hours) BJL2-Developmentally Appropriate Practice: Choosing toys and art activities (4 clock hours) BJL3-Managing Mixed Age Groups in a Child Care Setting (5 clock hours) BJL4-Learning Through Play (5 clock hours) BJL5-Separation Anxiety (3 clock hours) CJL1-Taming Temper Tantrums (6 clock hours) CJL2-Become Part of a Professional Team (2 clock hours) We are in the process of getting all classes approved in Mississippi. Upon completion of a class, we will send you a certificate reflecting the class title, student name, hours of training, and date of completion. Certificate also includes the statement, "This agency has been approved for # hours of staff development training for child care staff by the Child Care Licensure Branch of the Mississippi Department of Health."
