Preschool Theme Craft Activities on Medieval Fantasy, Kings and Queens.
Forever Sand Castle
1 cup sand
1/2 cup cornstarch
3/4 cup liquid starch
Mix ingredients together and cook over medium heat while
constantly stirring .When mixture thickens remove from heat and
knead. Children can hand sculpt or use buckets for molds.
Creations will harden as they dry.
Family Crest Coat of Arms
Cut out a shield shape from construction paper. Divide each shape into four sections. Provide magazine pictures to add for decoration or give children crayons to create their own. You may wish to provide photos of old crests for examples.
Dragon Craft
Use an inverted egg carton for the body, Pipe cleaners, crepe streamers and tissue paper can be used for decoration.
Medieval Princess Hats
Roll a sheet of construction paper to form the cone shape of the hat. Add a streamer at the top and let the child decorate with sequins and glitter.
