Preschool Theme Bedtime
Set aside a day special Pajama Day! Have the kids all come to school with their pajamas on and with their blankies, pillows and teddy bears! Play lullabies. Don't forget to serve milk and cookies for snack time!
Create sequencing cards with photos of children getting ready for bed (brushing teeth, listening to story) Have each child place the cards in order relevant to their own home routine.
Ask parents to tape a "bedtime" story. Play during naptime
"Bears in the bed" snack. Spread one slice of bread with peanut butter. "Lay" bear shaped graham cookies across the top of the slice of bread. Trim another slice of bread horizontally for "covers". "Tuck" the bears into bed by covering them up to their chins with the trimmed, plain slice of bread. And now you have "Bears in the bed"!
